Every day we come into contact with all sorts of objects made of different textures and materials. In this exercise, I used Photoshop to digitally paint four different types of fabrics: Jacquard, Fur, Sequine, and Organza. I chose to render these fabrics in the style of mid 19th century Impressionist painters. This style of painting gives each fabric a character all their own and drives home the weight, texture, and sheen of each.
